There is a fort in Higgestown and three men dreamt that there was a crock of gold buried in the fort.
The went early one morning to dig for it.
They dug for some time until they come on a large stone which they dreamt covered the crock
A big black dog now appeared and chased them away from the fort.
They never came back again being afraid of the dog as they were named John Fox, Tomas Rabbit and Patrick Hare.
