  1. (1) A cure for rheumatism is to put "fraughan" leaves in the bottom of your stocking or sock and wear them.
    (2) When a goose is killed the fat of her inside is stored away until necessary. Then it is rubbed in the place where the pain is at night. It will be alright by next morning.
