  1. I have been told by a man named John O'Toole that there was a man named Clarke who lived in Ballymacwillian once. he had a dream three nights one after another that he had his work men clearing a drain on the farm in which there was a pot of gold.
When they came to the place where the gold was hidden he sent his men home early to their dinner.
When they were at their dinner he took the gold away a certain distance from the place and placed it under a hedge.
That night when he was going home from work he took the pot of gold with him. He then bought some nice things for the priests of the parish and gave a good deal of money to charity.
