  1. There is an old path heading out to Kinneyfad and Boyne Hill from the Carrick road and there is another old path leading from new row to Millmount.
    Before bridges were made across the rivers there were fords which in other words were called stepping stones or stones put in a river so that people can pass from one side to the other.

    There is a ford in Kinneyfad.
    Kinneyfad in Irish is called Ceann Atha Fada which means the head of the long ford.
