  1. A collection of prayers.
    When going to sleep at night this prayer is generally said;
    Matthew, Mark, Luke and John,
    God bless the bed that I lie on,
    There are four corners on my bed,
    There are four angels lying spread.
    If I die before I awake,
    I pray to God my soul to take.
    If any evil comes to me,
    The Lord my God shall waken me.
    Before Holy Communion;
    Dearest Jesus come to me,
    Oh, how much I long for Thee,
    Come to my poor soul to-day,
    Teach me how to love and pray,
    Jesus, Jesus, come to me,
    A thousand times I welcome Thee.
