  1. There is a by-way from Clonbrock to Brackna Church. Some people say that men and women were murdered at certain cross-roads. It is said that a girl was murdered at Nahana cross-roads, Brackna, Offaly and that she was drowned in the river at Millgrove.

The Nahana road from Brackna cross, Offaly and the Clonbullogue, Offaly from Nahana cross to Clonullogue. The pullough road is from Wynne's bridge to Monasterevan, Kildare.
