    There is a lane at the back of Mick Farrells...

    There is a lane at the back of Mick Farrell's. It is known as Maher's Lane.
    At the front of his house there is a lane called the "Mill Lane". A river crosses it called the "Mill Race". There is the remains of an old mill on it.
    There is the remains of an old road down in Bornahedan bog. It belongs to a man called Willie Reid.
    There was an old road at the back of Michael Coady's but the River Nore runs upon it now .
    There was a road across Gurtnagoona called the "Mail Coach Road", because the Mail Coach used to travel it when going from Kilkenny to Dunkerrin. The road is not used now.
    There was a road across Dromard Bog one time but now its sunk down in it. It was the road to Cullohill.

    The "New Line" got its name because its not long made.
    There is an old road in Thomas Ryan's in Shanakill. It is not used now.
