    The "Cross Park" got it is a field at a cross-roads. The "Holly Bush Field" got its name because there is a holly bush growing on it. Mike Meara owns it.
    "Donnelly's Hill" got its name because Donnellys lived on it. Coadys owns the hill.

    There is (a field) hill in Gurtderrybeg by the name of "Parr's Hill" On that hill the Parrs lived. James Maher owns the field.
    There is a place in Couraganeen called Timooney. Years ago a man named Tim Mooney, That was the way that place got its name.

    There is a field in Mrs. Tracy's land in Templemore called the "Master's Meadow" When Master Dargan was alive he used to take hay there every year.
    A field of Mrs. Russell, Templemore is called the "White Meadow". Every Summer it is covered over with white daisies.
