“We have a field called the "high field". It got its name from a great big tree growing in it...”
We have a field called the "High Field" It got its name form a great big tree growing in it.
We have another field of the name the "bare field", because here doesn't much grass grow on it.
I know another field of the name of the "Headless Field" because men riding head-less horses pass through it every year.
Harrington's have a field of the name of the "Graveyard Field" or the "Lighted Field". It got its name of the "Lighted Field" because lights appear in it every night. told to Tom Cantwell by his uncle, Thomas Maher.The "Ruad Hill" got its name because there is red clay in it. It is our field in Hylanna.
"James Garden" got its name because a man named James Moten lived in it. Coady's of Derrylahen owns the field . "Boohan's Hill" because people named Boohan's lived on(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
