The old people long ago made their own candles from the fat of cattle. It was called tallow. When they wanted soap they got fat and let it dry out hard and made soap from it. They made their own thread they got the wool of the sheep and wove it with a spinning wheel and made the thread with a spindle and dyed the wool different colours.
