    told him that he would stick a piece of a stick where the gold was hidden. The man went to the place but he could never find the gold.
    The leipreacán can be seen it is said in a rath belonging to Mr Asple, Galbally, Macmine, Co. Wexford. He is seen under a sceach which is growing in this rath. It is said that once some people went to catch him and that they nearly succeeded in catching him but he got away. He told them that the gold was hidden under a stone behind them, but when they turned to get the gold the leipreacán disappeared.

  2. There is an old castle in Macmine, Co. Wexford. It is situated on the banks of the River Slaney. It was built in 1240. It is very historical. Nuns were murdered at that castle. They were its last occupants.
