  1. There is a cave at the back of
    Mr Hickey's house (Misterin, Adamstown)
    in which he kept dogs.
    One night he went out because
    he heard the dogs barking.
    He brought his gun with him.
    When he went out he saw a black
    dog near the cave.
    He raised his gun to shoot the dog
    but he could not stir his arm.
    The dog disappeared then, and
    Mr Hickey went in.
    Mr Hickey often saw the dog after
    that.
