Once upon a time a man named
Mick Furlong, (Raheen, Adamstown)
went to New Ross.
He got drunk, and he was
walking along the Quay, and
he fell into the River Barrow.
Some men got him out.
When they got him out he said
"Ha, the little river of Ross wasn't
able drownd Furlong."
