  1. There is a Blessed Well situated on the lands of Mr Hickey, Misterin, and it is unknown by the local people.
    It is situated in a bog and it is called Coolbegs.
    Long ago when the people used to send away the butter in ferkins, the late Mrs Hickey used to get the water to make the butter out of this well, although there was a pump in the farmyard.
    It is said that she always had very good butter.
