  1. I was comin' home from Ross
wan night an' I had two horses
    an' they were really quiet
When I came to the gate of
    Hickey's rath one of the
    horses stopped, an' I could
    not get him to pass.
    I turned him around an'
tried to back him but he would
    not pass.
After a long time I got him
to pass an' the sweat poured
    off him
I never liked passing that way
    after.
