  1. There was a man wan time an' he was cracked about cards.
    He was comin' home late wan night after playin' a game of 'em an' when he came to the church Meadow he met a strange man.
    The strange man asked him would he have a game of cards, an' he said he would.
    The two of 'em sat down at a little round table an' began to play.
    Durin' the game one of the fellas dropped a card on the ground an' he bent down to take it up.
