There was a fella be the name of William Hornick, who lived in Kilgarvan.

One day anyhow he went to dig in a rath, and when he was diggin' he looked back an' he saw his house on fire.
He went home to pout it out an' when he reached it, it wasn't on fire at all.
He went back again to dig an' when he went to his house the second time, it wasn't on fire at all.
He went the this time to dig, an' he looked back, an' it was on fire, so he dug, an' dug for a long time an' got nothin'
At last he went home and his house was burned to the ground.
