There was a man wan time and he was mowing down a field of hay.

He happened on a nest of young weasels and they mother was away
He looked at 'em for a long time an' he said to himself he wouldn't touch 'em
The mother was not far away, and she was looking at him all the time and she thought he was doing something with her young ones.
The man had a drink in a can in the field, and the ould weasel went and spit in the can, and it is said that a weasel's is poison.
Then she came back to her young ones and they were alright.
The ould weasel went back to the can, and spilled the milk because she thought the man might drink it.
She did this, because he did not do any harm to her young ones.
