There is an old castle at Knockreigh, Adamstown, Barony of Bantry, Co Wexford.

It is said that there is gold buried in this old castle.
Long ago the people used to dig for this gold, but none of them got it.
The police at that time wore shiny helmets. One day the police were digging for the gold in this castle and some men came to dig too. As the men came near they saw the shiny helmets, and got frightened and they fled.
These men were never seen near that castle afterwards.
