There were five fellas going to a dance one night.

The were several ways of going to this house.
One fella said they would go through the fields, and another said they would go through the rath.
So they went through the rath anyhow. Four of the fellas went on through the rath, an they thought the other fella was coming after them.
This others fellas was the fella that said they would go through the rath. When they four men reached the stile where they were to get out, there were no sign of the other man. This man was not seen for a few days after.
The fairies took him. When he came back he only lived for a couple of days.
