A crowd of young men went to hunt one day, and it was getting dark when they went to an old castle to dig for a badger.

It was after a lot of digging they got him. They put him in a bag and started for home. They weren't gone very far when they heard a voice in a wood saying "Dickie Dickie" They didn't mind at first but suddenly the badger in the bag said, Let me out you gentlemen for my father calls me in yonder wood.
They let the fairy badger out, and ran home as quick as they could.
