  1. There was a man coming from the Public House & he was always afraid in the night.
    A friend came a bit the way with him.
    So he had to pass the grave-yard alone. As he was passing the gate a man dressed in black ran out and caught him by the hand and looked in his face. The man had a beard which was very long and as white as snow.
    The poor man was very frightened and almost fainted. The man walked with him for a few yards till he found out it was a cousin who was blind & had lost his way & went into the gate instead of turning the corner of the road.
