  1. In Ryleen a ghost was seen by an old woman named Mrs. Rowe. In a house about one hundred yards away from the house in which she lived a young girl was dying.
    The old woman heard something crying in the field beside her house. It was in front of the dying child's house. The old woman went out to see what it was, and to her surprise she saw a ghost running across the field crying.
    The ghost was dressed in white, and it seemed to be in its bare feet. It stayed there about a half hour, and then it disappeared. The next morning when the people of the house arose
