- A long time ago there was a man named Jack Lynch. He used to work on the roads. One day he was working on Camblin road. After work he went to bed and he dreamed three times of a hidden treasure in Kelly's wood. So he and another man went out to dig it When they were working at it they saw a big dog standing beside them. So they ran off to their homes in Ballykelly and they did not go near it again.
Plenty of people tried to dig it up but no one ever got it. It is hidden in Kelly's Wood still under a big hazel stick a little a little bit from the road. There was often seen a black dog standing at the treasure. - There are gold and silver hidden in Coolback marshes by the bank of the river Barrow. There is a bull minding it. There is treasure consisting of gold and diamonds(continues on next page)
