    When you see the swallows flying low it is a sure sign of wet weather.
    To see the smoke lying on the ground is a sign of stormy weather.
    Many crows, and black-stairs together is a sign of stormy, wet weather.
    When the wind is coming from the east is a sign of hardy, frosty, weather.
    When the clouds are on the hills is a sign of rain.
    When the sea-gulls come in on the land land it is a sign of a storm on the sea.
    When you see suckers from the sun is a sign of wet weather.
    A rainbow in the morning is a sure warning.
    When the sheep are up grazing in the morning you may be sure of a wet stormy day.
