    William Power of Bunnagorra makes concoctions from herbs for Bunclody. It cures erisepclas scalds and burns.
    Mrs. Beale, Drumderry, Bunclody, was noted for herb cures. She cured burns etc, and all skin diseases. Laurel, marsh mallow, dock and dock root made an ointment.
    Mick Bowe, Drumderry, Bunclody, cured bad legs with herb ointment. No relation living.
    Dust of rotten timber used for scalds in infants.
    The juice of the dandelion cures warts.
    A great many herb doctors in district in olden times. Very few women but had herb cures.
