    If dandelion is steeped and the water drunk it is a good thing for a bad liver or stomach. Milk-weed would cure warts. Lamb's quarter would cure scalds. Rib-grass would stop blood.

  2. Nettles are pulled and cut up into very small pieces. They are used for bringing out the red-heads on young turkeys. Blood worth is used for cattle which are bad with the blood-murrain. It is pulled and boiled on new milk. Then the beast is drenched with the juice of the plant.
