    Local Cures
    Sore Eyes.
If a person has a sty on his eye he gets a gooseberry thorn and prods it with the thorn.
Another cure is to rub the eye with cold tea every morning.
    Sore Throat.
When a person has a sore throat he puts his stocking around his neck until it is well.
    Toothache.
A cure for a toothache is to put salt in the tooth.
