    Local Cures
    Warts
A cure for warts which I heard is to rub fat meat on the wart.
Another cure for warts is to bleed the warts and then rub phosphate on them.
Another common cure is to rub holy water on the warts Sunday after Sunday till it is rubbed on nine times.
    Chilblains
    Rub hot lamp-oil on them,
Another cure is to hold the chilblains over the smoke of burning straw for about five minutes.
    Cattle's Eyes
A cure for cattle's eyes is to break up glass as fine as dust and put the glass under the eye-lid.
