    Old Crafts
About thirty years ago there was a man living in Mr Johnson's house in Clone Monamolin Gorey. He used to make baskets and bring them to the fair to sell them. He used to sell them to the neighbours as well. He got the willows to make them in Mr Johnson's bogs. He gave his trade to Mr John Murphy, Clone Monamolin Gorey and Mr Murphy made his living by selling baskets.
Mr Murphy died about a year ago.
This story was told to me by my father
