    Weather Signs
    Good Weather.
    1. Evening red and morning grey two sure signs of one fine day.
    2. When you are able to hear a train from the South it is a signe of fine weather.
    3. Wild geese flying towards the mountains is a sign of hardy weather.
    4. When you see a big red frog in the first of the harvest it is a sign of a sunny harvest.
    Bad Weather.
    5. Evening grey and morning red pour down on the traveller's head.
    6. When Oulart puts on its hood Ballymotey mill may expect a flood.
    7. When Carrig Rue puts on its cap Coolatore may look out for the slap.
    8. Sea-gull sea-gull stay on the strand for we are sure of wet weather if you come to land.
