    Clothes Made Locally.
    The tailor uses the following tools :- machine, needle, thimble, scissors, flat-iron, tape-measure and lap-board. He puts down your measure in a little note book and marks out the cloth to cut it with chalk

  2. The Local Patron Saint
    Saint Cormac is our patron saint. There are ruins of an old church in the townland of Kilcormac and people say that was St Cormac's church. There is a well in a bog nears the ruins called St Cormac's well. Saint Cormac's feast-day is the twenty-first of June and our "patron" is held on the Sunday nearest to the twenty-first [of June].
