  1. "Here we go again said the Grainneog"
    One day a grainneog met a hare on the road. The hare was boasting how quickly he was able to run.
    The Grainneog promptly challenged him for a race. They consented to race the next morning.
    In the meantime the grainneog went and told his brother. They were to run up and down every drill in a certain potato - garden near by. They both appeared the next evening and they began to race.
    The grainneog only went a few yards and he lay down. When the hare was coming out at the end of the drill, he thought he saw the grainneog coming out with him, but it was not the original grainneog, as he thought, but his brother.
    When they were turning in on another drill the grainneog used to say "Here we go again"
