  1. The Holy well near Rocktavern.
There is a holy well near the Rocktavern. It is situated in Owen Doyle's bog. It is about a hundred yards from the road. It is surrounded by two very old hawthorn trees and an elder tree. There are a few large boulders around it also. It is said that lon ago people came from far and near to this well to be cured of various diseases. Nobody uses this water. There is nothing more known about this well in this locality. There is another holy well at the graveyard in Ballylusk. There is also a holy well in the Foxcover.
