  1. In a field called Garryowen in townsland of Ballytarsna, Oulart, Gorey, two men saw a soldier
It was not a real soldier but it was his spirit
It disappeared after a few minutes. The following evening about five o'clock a ball of fire was seen in the same place. An old road was near the place where it was seen. After a short time the ball of fire went a long the old road in the direction of Wexford.
A few evenings later the same two men were building a ditch where the ball of fire was seen.
They had only started building when they found a man's breast bone. They buried the bone but it could not be kept under the ground. The last time they put it down under a piece of rock and it never came up since.
