May Bird, Cuckoo, Swallow, Black Stairs, Lark, Crane, Pidgeon, Johnny of the bogs, Plover, Leather Wing Bat, Wood Cock, Yellow Hammer, Starling, Jack Daw, Water Hen, Tail Curlew, Sparrow, Hawk Sparrow, Patridge are the wild birds that fly around this district.
    The swallows, cuckoo, Blackstairs
    Corn Crake, Curlew, Wild Geese are the birds that migrate.
    The swallows go to warmer countries for the Winter and come to Ireland for the Summer.
    The cuckoo is the same
    The Blackstairs come from the mountains for the Winter and go to the mountains for the Summer
