  1. Peter Fortune of Raheenaskea, Oulart, Gorey was a famous jumper in year's gone by. He could long jump + stand jump he could with a pole + he could jump without a pole. He could jump twelve feet in height with a pole + he could jump six feet in height without a pole. He could jump a height of three feet standing. He won a great lot of prizes and medals for jumpibg. He was never challenged.

    Mr Mourdant of Camolin Co Wexford was a great dancer. He was an all Ireland prize winner. He taught almost all the famous dancers of the present day. He had a class in Oulart, in the year of 1914. He held the class in the boys old school.
