  1. The graveyards of this parish may be mentioned under the following heads:
    (a) The graveyard at present in use
    (b) Graveyards in use for a very long time and now practically disused
    (c) Very old graveyards of which very little is known beyond their position or situation
    (d) Graveyards for unbaptised children
    (a) This graveyard surrounds the parish church. It is divided into two sections, the one immediately around the church, the other an extension added quite recently and called the "New Cemetery".
In the older section the grave stones are large slabs of slate lying flat with very many cracked by the shrinkage of the soil underneath.
    (b) The graveyards under this heading are 'Killila' 'Ballyvaldon' 'Ballyvaloo' and 'Castle Ellis'.
