He left Dublin at 3 a.m, sat down and rested and fell asleep at sunset at a point two miles from his home. A passer-by awakened him and he related the remaining two miles was the test.Tommy Mythen of Ballina Blackwater did better even. He walked from Dublin also but to a point four miles further on.
