    The wife next went to his mother and told her about Jack. The mother asked her did she ever give him the scrapin' of the pot. She said "No."
    The following day when the misses was serving the sweet after dinner, She asked Jack would he like to scrape the scillit, and after taking a few spoonfuls he burst into laughter exclaiming aloud "Will yeh ever forget the ould cock that came in yesterday an' we atin our dinner?"
