    I remember wan day long ago we were goin' to St Mullins and we got mass in Rathgarouge.

    I remember wan day long ago we were goin' to St Mullins and we got mass in Rathgarouge. Before Mass the Parish priest was givin' out the Cathechism on the childer.
    This priest was a very cross man, an' the Sunday he'd be given out the Cathechism he use'nt to have half as many childer present as the curate who was a rale nice man. Well the priest asked a chap "Where's God", and the chap did'nt answer him an' he asked him the second time and still he got no answer. The priest was ragin' an' he made a belt at the chap across the face. The chap began to cry for a while and then all of a suddent he stopped, and shouted out as loud and as stubborn as he could "If that field there across was full up of gods, I would not tell you where wan of 'em
