John was a bit of a poet, and when he met Elf he says to him ;"Mr Elf is this yourself

Goin' down the hill of Foulksmill
Wud your nose aginst the breeze"
There was a priest in Clongeen wan time, and this day he was readin' his Office in a field belongin' to a fella named Caule
Begob, Caule shut and locked the gate goin' into the field an' would'nt let 'im in.
