It was Frank's Tom was wakin' that's Johny Doyle's uncle and Lizzie Howlett had a ham down bilin in the pot, an begor when sume o the prime boys got Lizzie's back turned didn't they take out the ham out o the pot and stick it undher an ault sate at the fire ( oh they didn't do it any harm only blackened it a little) an they got a half gallon an tied an ould cloth around it, an put it in the pot. There it was bilin' away for three hours and then Lizzie comes along with a big fork to take it up. She didn't know at first what the dickens
