  1. Nettles, sorrells, dandelions:-
    used to cure diseases of the heart and the water in which it is boiled is said to be good for the liver.
    Brooklime :- dipped in salt and eaten fasting is said to be good for a cough
    Bluebell :- A bluebell leaf applied to the roof of the mouth was believed to be a certain cure for bleeding from the nose.
    Foxglove :- The water from boiled foxglove was said to be a great stimulant for the heart used as an injection, and also used as a wash for sore eyes
    Blackcurrant jam :- mixed with hot water used as a cure for hoarseness and coughs.
    Dock leaves :- were used as a cure for stings of nettles.
    Blackberry juice :- was a favourite dye of the people in olden times.
