    There are four corners on my bed
    There are four Angels on them spread,
    Matthew, James, Luke and John.
    Bless the bed that I lie on.
    Here I lie upon my side.
    I pray to God to be my guide.
    And if I die before I wake.
    I pray to God my soul to take.
    Waken now or waken never
    To God I give my Soul forever.
    God bless me.

    Four corners on my bead
    Four Angels over-spread.
    One to sing One to pray.
    And two to carry my Soul away.
