  1. This game is played in the following manner. Any number of children can play this game. First they gather together and two of them stand in the middle of the pavement and the rest stand in a row against the wall. The two in the middle face each other and catch hands and say "Give me a pin to stick in my chin to carry a Lady to London." And then one of the children sits on the clasped hands of the other two and puts her arms around their necks and they carry her up and down the street.
They give the second child a ride and to each they say "Give me a pin to stick in my chin to carry a Lady to London" and sometimes they say "Give me another to stick in my brother to carry a Lady to London" and they give each child a ride in turn.
