  1. Here I am be Captain Bowl and fear no rebel throng,
    With swords and bands and heroes grand to Wexford town I belong.
    Great merit and sport I do resort and such diversion play,
    With our nation filled with heroes skill with terror and dismay.
    First he is our bold prince George,
    May fortune on him smile,
    And the next is St Patrick-Patron of our Isle.
    Then came Napoleon conquerer of renown,
    Followed by North Wellington who swears he will cut them down,
    Here comes our doctor who cures what he thinks fit,
