    There are two monuments in John St. The one in John St itself is in memory of Cromwell and the other on the green as it is is called is in memory of the Yeomen.
    In Bishopswater in the time of Cromwell Bishops were killed and that is why it is called "Bishopswater" the present day.
    In Peter's Square priests, nuns and other religious people were killed.
