    ing for it, but coud not find it. All they found was a stream of blood coming from Schuer's body. They tried to stop the flow of but could not. The blood never ran outside the house and it stayed on the ground til the crock of gold was discovered
    The house is still to be seen. It is said that "Schuer" was a miser + had saved the gold ever since he was twenty years old. When the pike-men killed him, he put a curse on them + on his gold, but his curses were no good.
