    He Suddenly looked under his pillow and there he found the pike-head.
    Then a young boy by the name of Billy Malone came in and told him that he had taken the pike to his father's forge, because his father was making pikes for Fr. Murphy and wanted to get the right pattern; so he had sent the boy to get the pike-head. Billy forgave the boy and said he would start making pikes himself

  2. The unknown priest had his bed in the goat's cave in Carrig. It was made of straw and sticks and a lump of stone for a pillow. The clothes were made of sacks.
